Daily Announcements: Mon, April 9 WEEK 31 DAY 121

Today is the tenth day of MP 3, which ends in 20 school days. There are now 44 school days remaining in the school year. Juniors, your college application window opens in 5 months. Sophomores, your college application window opens in 17 months. Freshmen, your college application window opens in 29 months. There is very little time left to ensure that you end the year with a strong spring semester GPA.

Announcement #1: Lunch and Learn today is math, social studies, and art.

Announcement #2: Attention all students who made the honor roll in MP 1: We will be going bowling in Times Square tomorrow. If you don’t have a permission slip, get one from the Honor Roll bulletin board by Ms. Rodriguez’s room. The permission slips are due back on to Mr. Patterson today.

Announcement #3: Attention juniors: There is an opportunity to take college classes and earn credit this summer at Baruch. These courses will look great on your college application when you start applying for college in five months. The application deadline is this Friday. See the email sent to your GramercyHS email account by Ms. Polo before the break.

Announcement #4: Next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the cast and crew of the spring musical is proud to present HAIR! Come see the show next Thursday at 4, next Friday at 6, or next Saturday at 6. Tickets will be on sale at lunch later this week!

Announcement #5: The New Gramercy Times newspaper meets with Ms. Jimenez in Room 711 at lunch.

Announcement #6: Homework Helper is after school on Wednesday in Room 749.

Announcement #7: If you are interested in stage design, stage tech or would just like to help out with the musical HAIR, please find Ms. Rojek in room 707 during lunch today.   

Announcement #8: Hair rehearsals start at 4 pm in the auditorium. Be there and ready to start promptly at 4.

Announcement #9: A shout out to Olivia Matthews and Aileen Downes for editing an outstanding issue of the Gramercy Times newspaper, and to Olivia Matthews, Roxas Timmons, and Zachary Coney for great contributions to the issue.
