Daily Announcements Mon, May 7 WEEK 36 DAY 142

Marking period 3 starts today. All MP 2 honor roll students will be invited to go miniature golfing on Monday, May 21. Honor roll will be announced at lunch. Report cards will be distributed on Friday during period 7. There are 25 days remaining in the school year and this semester.

 

Announcement #1: Lunch and Learn today is math, social studies, and art.

Announcement #2: The New Gramercy Times newspaper meets with Ms. Jimenez in Room 711 at lunch.

Announcement #3: If any student or teacher wants their own Gramercy HAIR musical t-shirt, please find Ms. Rojek to provide the size you want! $10 a shirt! Orders close today!

Announcement #4: Next Friday night is the SGO’s Spring Dance Luau! This will be the last and biggest dance of the year. So plan to come out and get your hula on! If you would like to bring guests to the dance, please see Ms. Rodríguez at lunch for a permission slip starting today.

Announcement #5: Today is the last day to thank your teachers, your counselors, and the school aides for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day, which is tomorrow. Again, the last day for the teacher appreciation day table is today. Address your letters by the end of the day today, and they’ll be given to teachers tomorrow morning. Thanks to everyone who has shown their appreciation thus far.

Announcement #6: This Friday night is the Spring Drama Showcase at 5 pm in the Black Box. All are welcome.

Announcement #7: AP tests start today. If you are enrolled in an AP class this year, you must take the AP test. Do not be late to your AP test—and good luck!

Announcement #8: Ms. Beck and Ms. Mabrie shout out all the students who performed in the Spring Music Recital on Friday night. A thank you to Xara Williams, Dora Batinovic, and Christina Mason for designing and running lights! And to Karla Cooper for teaching our vocal students how to run lights!
