Daily Announcements: Wed, March 7 WEEK 27 DAY 106

Marking period 1 ends one week from this Friday–in 7 school days. After this there are 10 school weeks left in the 2017-18 school year.

Announcement #1: Lunch and Learn today is English, math, and science.

Announcement #2: The SGO will post invitations to perform at the 2018 Talent Show today outside Ms. Rodríguez’s room.

Announcement #3: There is an emergency meeting of all Green Team members at the start of lunch today in room 748. Again, all Green Team members should meet in room 748 today.

Announcement #4: Tomorrow and Friday are parent-teacher conferences; they are from 5:30 to 8:00 pm tomorrow night, and from 12:00 to 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon. You will be dismissed at 11:30 am on Friday morning. Every student needs to be attendance on Friday.

Announcement #5: Homework Helper is today after school in Ms. Montanino’s room. Snacks will be provided. Come and get your work done and finish major projects and essays as we approach the end of the marking period next week.

Announcement #6: Yoga meets with Ms. Akingba and Ms. Carr in the dance room-1148.

Announcement #7: If you want to create orange tie dye shirts to show your solidarity with students who are protesting gun violence, bring a white 100% cotton t-shirt to Ms. Montanino’s room 749 after school tomorrow! Again, tie-dying anti-gun-violence t-shirts will happen in Ms. Montanino’s room after school tomorrow in Room 749. Bring your t-shirt! If you need a t-shirt and can’t afford one, see Mr. Patterson.

Announcement #8: Rehearsal for HAIR starts promptly at 3 pm on the 11th floor.

Announcement #9: Mr. Richardson shouts out to Cindy Illas for solving the 4×4 cube puzzle in Algebra II yesterday. Awesome job, Cindy. Ms. Iocovozzi and Ms. Akingba have begun a new lunchtime peer tutoring program. They shout out freshmen Kimi, Michele, Jessica, Xavier, Paul, Azaria, and Madison for being the first students to participate in the peer tutoring program. They all received extra credit this week. The peer tutoring program in Living Environment continues today in Room 705.
