Ms. Mabrie’s playwriting class takes a final bow at their Winter Playwriting Showcase on January 17. The show featured four fresh works crafted during the last five months: “Wedding Bells,” by Melvin Tenga, “Amor,” by Taira Bishop, “Eyes,” by Kyle Rapolo, and “Ostracized” by Whizzer Orellana. Ms. del Nido’s Directing class gathers at the end of their end-of-semester performances, Friday, January 19.

 

 

 

 

 


There is no school for students on Monday, January 29. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 30, at 8:20 am.

The spring semester starts on Tuesday, January 30. Students will receive their report cards for the fall semester during period 1 on Tuesday, which will be held in sections.

All students who achieve honor roll in marking period 2, marking period 3, or semester 1 are invited to go ice skating at Chelsea Piers on Monday, February 5, at 1:30 pm.Permission slips will be handed out this coming week in your English classes.


Students will receive their updated transcripts with their fall semester grades next week from Ms. Polo and Ms. Ortiz.


Wednesday, February 7is Junior Night at Cleary. All juniors should plan to attend this important event that will help them begin to prepare for the college application experience. See Ms. Polo for more information.


Homework Helper will begin on Wednesday, February 7 after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays. All students are welcome to attend from 3:45 to 4:00 each Wednesday and Thursday. Snacks will be provided.
