Greetings Gramercy Arts High School Community!

I am pleased to announce that our first batch of yarn arrived today. Students, parents, teachers and staff are welcome to stop by 724 to grab some yarn and a crochet hook to make something warm for the those in need during this winter season. The more of us that participate the more people who will be warm. The goal is to make as many scarves, booties, and hats between now and December 20, 2019. The crocheting club will meet formally once a week on Thursdays in Ms. Brody’s room but it is important for the work to continue outside those hours. If you do not know how to crochet come and learn with us or use Youtube. The cool thing to do this winter season is to be spotted carrying your yarn in school making something for someone in need.

The best part of the holiday season is the feeling you get for giving something made with love especially to someone in need.

Ms. M
