The fall semester ends a week from today, in four days and three periods. You need to go to Lunch and Learn today in English, science, social studies, and art if you have any MP 3 grades below 80. If you need to know mid-term days and Regents days, see the calendar.


Announcement #1: Midterms for Semester 1 continue today, with day 2 of English and science. Math and social studies midterms start tomorrow and continue on Thursday.

Announcement #2: There will be a mandatory senior meeting about the senior trip in the auditorium next Tuesday, January 16 at lunch. Again, there is a meeting for all seniors about the senior trip next Tuesday in the auditorium at lunch.

Announcement #3: The Anime and Manga Club meets with Mr. Kim in Room 701, the Chess Club meets with Mr. Brown in Room 715, Meditation meets with Mr. Znyk on the 10th Floor Mezzanine, The Debate Forum meets with Mr. Ashkenazi in Room 730, and Art History with Ms. Silverstein in Room 741.

Announcement #4: Call-backs for HAIR take place at 3 pm in the black box! A music workshop will be held in the black box during lunch! Also, a reminder that if you were not called back, it does not mean you will not be cast in the show! The final cast list will be posted next Tuesday, January 16th.

Announcement #5: Juniors who are taking the SAT should sign up for Saturday morning SAT test prep at Cleary, which starts on Saturday, February 3. Breakfast and Metrocards are provided. See Ms. Polo to sign up.

Announcement #6: Chemistry Regents prep is this afternoon at 3:00 in Room 715. Living Environment Regents prep is this afternoon at 3:00 in Room 705.

Announcement #7: If you’re interested in playing varsity baseball this spring, you must come to a mandatory meeting this Friday, January 19, at 3:45 in Room 719 with Coach Lilla.

Announcement #8: Seniors, meet in the cafeteria today during lunch to take the Senior Sweater Group photo for the yearbook.

Announcement #9: Ms. Mabrie, Ms. Beck, Ms. Rojek, and Ms. del Nido would like to shout out everybody who auditioned for HAIR this week! You are amazing!!!
