Today marks the middle of Marking Period 1, which ends in two school weeks from Friday. Make sure that all your grades are above 90 percent in all your classes.

Announcement #1: All Cleary Mentees, remember to check your email and RSVP to our monthly event tomorrow, Tuesday, February 27th at 4:15pm. If you don’t RSVP by 4:00 today, there will not be a ticket available for you.   

Announcement #2: Lunch and Learn today is math, social studies, and art.

Announcement #3: Attention seniors, there is a mandatory five-minute meeting at the start of lunch for all seniors interested in going on the senior trip tomorrow in Room 715. Again, at the start of lunch tomorrow in Room 715 there is a mandatory meeting for all seniors interested in going on the senior trip.

Announcement #4: This Thursday is the Red Cross blood drive. Please give blood this Thursday. You can sign up by going to the website on the posters that are in the hallway. See Mr. Patterson for more information.

Announcement #5: Today is the sign up for juniors who want to go on the Stony Brook trip this coming Friday. Sign up with Ms. Polo during lunch today. In order to get the permission slip, you must give Ms. Polo the $7 for the LIRR ticket. Students must all Semester 1 classes to attend the Stony Brook trip this Friday.

Announcement #6: The New Gramercy Times newspaper meets with Ms. Jimenez in Room 711 at lunch.

Announcement #7: U.S. History Regents prep is 6th period in Room 715 with Ms. Dicicco.  Seniors, you need to show up if you want to graduate.

Announcement #8: Shout out to Jathan Suarez for helping Ms. Beck down the stairs after she injured her back. Shout out to Ms. Beck and Mr. Brown’s 8th period Chemistry Class for earning a class average of over 80% on their Unit 6 Quiz!

Shout out to The Gramercy Singers for writing and producing an amazing Black History Month performance with special thanks to Giovanni Everett for choreographing the Step and to Donnell Mann for joining in!
