Announcement #1: Lunch and Learn today is math, social studies, and art. The library is closed today.
Announcement #2: Global Regents prep starts today after school with Ms. Carr and Ms. Rojek in Room 707. Again, all students sitting for the Global Regents should attend the first session of Global Regents Prep after school today in Room 707.
Announcement #3: If you are going to the honor roll trip this afternoon, please meet in the back of the auditorium at 1:30 this afternoon. Make sure you bring your permission slip if you haven’t already turned it in.
Announcement #4: National Honor Society applications for invited sophomores and juniors are due by this Friday at the end of the day. Late documents will not be accepted so make sure you give the green recommendation forms to your teachers today.
Announcement #5: Attention seniors: the senior trip is next Wednesday, May 30, to Six Flags Great Adventure. Please sign up and get a permission slip outside Mr. Patterson’s office by if you are going on the senior trip. The cost is $100, due by this Friday to Ms. Meyer.
Announcement #6: Today is Student Voter Registration day. If you will be 18 by this November, on Monday you can register to vote. Find Mr. Ali at the sign-up table at lunch in the hallway.
Announcement #7: The Senior Drama Showcase is from 6 to 8 in the auditorium this coming Thursday. Tech for the showcase is from 3 to 6 tomorrow in the auditorium.
Announcement #8: A shout out to all the members of the SGO and other students who helped set up and break down the Spring Luau on Friday night. Mr. Richardson shouts out Terrell Scantlebury for becoming an Algebra Jedi over the past few weeks. Mathematicians all over Gramercy Arts High are now on notice! Terrell has his sights set on the crown! Finally, a shout out to the students who helped at the District 1 and 2 High School fair on Saturday at Marta Valle—Mia Capuz, Samantha Cavaliere, Kasiem Watkins and Jenna Prokopishen.
