Marking period 3 started on Monday, and there are 22 days remaining in the school year. All MP 2 honor roll students will be invited to go miniature golfing on Monday, May 21. Honor roll will be announced at lunch tomorrow. Report cards will be distributed during period 7 tomorrow. Tomorrow on the bulletin board outside Ms. Laratta’s classroom, a list of sophomores and juniors will be posted who will be eligible to apply to join the National Honor Society next year. Again, if you are a sophomore or junior, please check the bulletin board outside Ms. Laratta’s classroom for al list of students who will be eligible to join the National Honor Society next year. The application process will also be posted.


Announcement #1: Lunch and Learn today is math and science. The library is closed again today.

Announcement #2: Girls Who Code meets with Ms. Beck in Room 722, and the Poetry Club meets with Ms. Iocovozzi in Room 745. The Stress Relief Group meets with Sean from the health center in Room 719 at lunch. .

Announcement #3: Attention all juniors: Tomorrow Ms. Polo will be taking juniors to the college fair at City Hall at 11 am. Please check your emails about this event. See Ms. Polo at lunch today to sign up for the event.

Announcement #4: Next Friday night is the SGO’s Spring Dance Luau! This will be the last and biggest dance of the year. So plan to come out and get your hula on! If you would like to bring guests to the dance, please see Ms. Rodríguez at lunch for a permission slip today. All guests must have a DOE school ID when they attend the event.

Announcement #5: Tomorrow night is the Spring Drama Showcase at 5 pm in the Black Box. All are welcome.

Announcement #6: Today is Homework Helper after school, at 2:45 in Room 749. There are only 7 more Homework Helpers left in the school year. Take this opportunity to make up missing work, get help, and get your stuff done. That’s tomorrow after school in Room 749.

Announcement #7: AP tests are this week and next. If you are enrolled in an AP class this year, you must take the AP test. Do not be late to your AP test—and good luck!
