The fall semester ends tomorrow. This is the final day in the semester of Lunch and Learn in math, and it is also Lunch and Learn for science.

Announcement #1: All students who achieve honor roll for marking period 2, marking period 3, and/or Semester 1 will be invited to go ice skating on Monday, February 5 at 1:30. Permission slips will be distributed during the first week of the second semester, after Regents week.

Announcement #2: Girls Who Code meets in Room 722, and the Poetry Club meets in Room 745. The Stress Relief Group meets with Sean from the health center in Room 719 at lunch.

Announcement #3: Today there will be a mandatory meeting for the cast of HAIR during lunch today. You will be receiving your music and cast contract.

Announcement #4: Juniors who are taking the SAT should sign up for Saturday morning SAT test prep at Cleary, which starts on Saturday, February 3. Breakfast and Metrocards are provided. See Ms. Polo to sign up.

Announcement #5: U.S. History Regents prep is this afternoon in Room 722 with Mr. O’Neill. Tomorrow after school is Chemistry and Living Environment Regents prep.

Announcement #6: The Library Beautification meets during lunch down in the Library today and tomorrow. This will count towards your Community Service hours. If you want to help improve the library, meet during lunch in the library today.

Announcement #7: If you’re interested in playing varsity baseball this spring, you must come to a mandatory meeting tomorrow at 3:45 in Room 719 with Coach Lilla.

Announcement #8: There will be a meeting for all Theater students who are interested in performing in the Black History Month Show tomorrow during lunch in the Black Box. If you would like to perform a scene, monologue, or poem in honor of Black History Month, please come! That’s tomorrow at lunch in the Black Box.

Announcement #9: All Cleary mentees should attend a mandatory check-in today in room 721 immediately after school today.

Announcement #10: Ms. Mabrie shouts out all students who participated in the Playwrights Showcase last night. You all came together to produce amazing pieces of theatre that conveyed strong themes, and you should all be extremely proud of yourselves!

Ms. Mabrie shouts out Aariana Dunston and Katelyn Silva for their astounding dedication and collaboration in Acting 2 class. Your hard work clearly paid off when you presented a mastery level contemporary scene performance in class, and your performance strongly reflected the elements of acting with a scene partner and you fully engaged your audience! Bravo!
